2020 Golden Key Award Winner

This private residence in Western Australia has Accoya wood for various features. It was a display home built by local and well-known builders, Zorzi. In 2020 the home won Display Home of the Year at the Golden Key Awards.

On the lower ground, the wall leading towards the front door and the garage door has been clad with Accoya wood. The design and installation of the Accoya cladding allows the door of the garage to blend and appear hidden. It also appears as narrow battens, but approved Accoya distributors, M&B, have cleverly designed and produced their own cladding profile – so each cladding board appears as two battens. All cladding boards were secured using SPAX fixings.

The builders also selected Accoya to continue inside the property creating a feature wall upon entry.
