Designer shopping outlets in Roermond have used Accoya for the timber frame on the front exterior. Approximately 8m3 of Accoya wood in 25mm x 150mm section size has been used for these fashion stores. To create the desired distressed look and feel for the stores, the Accoya was brushed on the front face and hammered on the sides.

The finish was an opaque stain in 3 different colours, black, oak and oxblood red. A motivating factor for specifying Accoya was the durability and stability in the external environment.
